Devon versus Cornwall

Our under 18 team took on our old rivals Cornwall at Staddon Heights. We went with a team of experience and four boys making their debut.

At lunch after the foursomes the honours were even at 2.5-2.5

In the afternoon the experience of our top order players came through as we secured four and a half points from the first 6 matches. The winning point came from 14 year old debutant Ollie Amos who won his match 3 and 2 and a further point half point came from Jack Parry another debutant making the the final match score 8.5-6.5. A fine win! The result means Devon retain the Roy Greenaway Trophy.

The matches were played in a great spirit!
