DEVONGOLF SENIOR WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP 2022

Thurlestone Golf Club, always magnificent, was at its' finest for the Senior Men's and Women's Championships 2022.

Playing scratch golf over 18 holes to become the DevonGolf Senior Women's Champion 2022, they teed off in brilliant sunshine with the strong breeze gusting off the sea. The winning score was posted early by home player Jennifer Roberts with a gross 77. Stover's Sarah Hoff (and DevonGolf's Women's First Team Manager) posted a gross 81 for second place. 

The Nett Prize was won by Churston's Kate Field (13-Churston) with a nett 70, just pipping Maggie Thomson (17-Teign Valley) on count back. Kate went home clutching two prize vouchers as she was 4th in the Scratch competition with a gross 83.

Jane Wain came along the coast from Bigbury Golf Club to kindly give up her day to act as roaming referee. DevonGolf Vice President Pam St Leger, a Thurlestone Golf Club member and recently qualified Level 3 referee, also spent the day roaming the course in case of any rules queries before changing roles to present the prizes.
