DEVONGOLF DO WELL AT JUNIOR 4 COUNTIES - DAY 1

The Junior 4 Counties Championship is being held over 3 days at Weston-Super-Mare. The four counties represented are Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.  

DevonGolf are represented by Exeter Golf & Country Club's James Reed (-1), Jack Jeffrey (3), Lewis Beer (1)  and Fred Bishop (1). Alongside Tiverton Golf Club's Jay Scott (0) and David Baldwin (3), Churston Golf Club's Luke Tooley (3) and Matt Millar (1) of Dainton Park all have put in a great performance on day 1.

As a team, DevonGolf have done well on day 1 finishing in 1st place, 6 shots ahead of Dorset, leaving Cornwall and then Somerset with some work to do. For DevonGolf individual matchplay results click here

Individually the boys excelled with James Reed shooting 71 to lead at the end of the day and Jay Scott sharing 2nd place with Cornwall's Thomas Stephens, just 1 shot behind James with rounds of 72. Matt Millar and David Baldwin and Jack Jeffrey are tied in 9th place alongside Bailey Langford of Somerset and Oliver Park of Dorset with rounds of 75. For singles results click here
