So Close again for the Devon Men's Team!

The Devon Men's team went up against Glamorgan at Glamorganshire GC in the most recent SW Channel League match over the weekend.

This was Devon's third Channel league fixture after narrowly losing the first two matches by 1 point so the team were looking to rectify this. Captain Pete Lawrence featured above and Harrison King were among a very determined squad who set their sights on helping secure Devon's their first win of the season in this league! However, history repeated itself and the valiant Devon team had to swallow another narrow loss with a 1 point defeat (again) eventually losing 8-7 on the day.

The next match is against Gloucestshire at the Kendleshire GC on 2nd September where they will look to get back to winning ways!
