99 Devon County Card holders were treated to what must have been the hottest day of the year at Stover Golf Club on Thursday 6th July. This our second County Card event of the year was played in exceptional weather conditions, long may it last…
Players were very complementary of the course which was found to be in excellent condition and together with the first-rate bar and catering service added to the success of this event. Many thanks to all indoor and outdoor staff for making the day such an enjoyable one for all.
Congratulations to all winners especially Steve Burchell, Robert Abel and Andre Hogan who were at the top of the Mens Leaderboard and Julie Bacon, Margaret Smith and Sarah Martin who topped the Ladies Leaderboard.
The leading Mens score of 39 points by Steve Burchell of Woodbury Park was equalled by the leading Ladies score of Julie Bacon of Boringdon Park. Well done to you both.
