The first match went to Staddon with George Bryant being comfortably under par when he beat Tom Trowbridge the reigning Boys Champion on the 15th. 

In the last match Grace Jackson a Devon Ladies first team player and Tiverton Junior Captain built up a 4 hole lead before being pegged back by Lucas Osborn to only 1 up before Grace won on the 17th. 

The middle match became the decider with Harrison King of Staddon going 4 up early doors before a great comeback by Tom Hanson of Tiverton. With the other two matches having finished at 1 each this match came to the last all square with Tom securing a par to win 1up. 

Thanks go to Tavistock Golf Club for hosting the match at short notice and in this their 125th anniversary year. It is also appropriate that the final was played at Tavistock as this was the home club of Basil Steer who presented the trophy.
