Disappointing Channel League result for Devon on 24th May

Devon managed to snatch defeat for the jaws of probable victory in Sunday's Channel League clash against Wiltshire at Teignmouth. Having been 3½ : 1½ to the good after the morning foursomes and up in 5 singles games and square in 1 other in the afternoon after 9 holes, the team slumped to win only 2 / 10 singles games. 3 consecutive games went to 18 but all went Wiltshire's way.  Full details to come.
