Sunday Total 10½

What a Sunday at Bigbury the under 14s overcome Cornwall under 14s  9 ½ to 2 ½ and our under 16s triumphed over Cornwall under 16s  by a score of 10 ½ to 1 ½. Very impressive by both teams with several debutants in the 14s and 16s it couldn't have gone better for Marc Mulligan and myself as Managers,

Our next match comes up very quickly on Friday 14th April away against Somerset at Long Sutton Golf club playing the same foursomes followed by singles scratch matchplay matches as at Bigbury.

The under 16s team for the next match will be as follows;

Charlie Ashbee  2.0  Yelverton   Captain

George Inch       3.6   Thurlestone

Joe Aldous         3.6    Staddon Heights

Donny Bruce     6.0    Saunton

James Venter     7.7   Saunton

Evan Morris       8.6    Teignmouth

Hugo Dennison 9.1    Woodbury

Jago Bayley        9.4    Exeter

Non Travelling reserve  Harry Thompson  9.1

Congratulations to all selected, especially the non travelling reserve from our last match Jago Bayley who sent on his best wishes to the team before the match at Bigbury and now gets his chance at Long Sutton, we have a long gap before our next league match away against Dorset so we will be watching your performances moving forward and we are certain you will all be improving rapidly and pushing for a starting place.
