THE SHEELAH CREASY BOWL
The Sheelah Creasy Bowl - teams consist of 7 players (3 x Singles and 2 x Greensomes matchplay) who shall play in ascending order of singles playing handicap and the ascending order of combined playing handicap once the pairs have been selected.
The draw rotates annually so that the clubs play across the county. Teams consist of 7 players, playing in ascending handicap order. The scoring for each game/match is:
Away win = 3 pts
Home win = 2 pts
Away half = 1½ pts
Home half = 1 pt
Overall match:
Winning team - based on number of matches won: add 2 pts
Halved match - based on number of matches won: add 1 pt each
The competition culminates in quarter, semi and finals matches to decide the winner.
The Sheelah Creasy Bowl was stolen from Teignmouth Golf Club in 2024 and has not been recovered.
