RND WOMEN WIN THE KYOCERA CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SPAIN
I am delighted to report that the Royal North Devon women's team of Liz Bird, Paula Gibbs, Lorna Pearce, Ruth Horn, Alison Cox and Liz McKay won the 2025 Kyocera Championships in Spain.
Having won 6 matches during the course of 2025, they travelled to Spain for the finals this weekend.
As the weather forecast was so bad for Saturday, the semifinal was played on Friday.
They beat Broket Hall 4 - 1
The final had a delayed start again due to heavy rain on Sunday morning.
The opponents were Dundas Park Golf Club from Edinburgh.
Our women won 3-2 in a very tightly fought match.
