After taking up golf at 58, Lyn’s had a few holes-in-one before — but 2025 has been something special.
It started on the day of the club AGM, when she aced the 3rd at Downes Crediton. “Didn’t even see it go in,” she laughed. “But everyone got a free drink — so I was very popular!”
Just 16 days later, during Ladies' Day, she did it again on the 13th! “We saw it drop and just started jumping up and down!”
And then, unbelievably, another two weeks later at Tiverton Golf Club — ace number three in just 31 days!
Lyn's summer has been just as impressive off the tee, with her handicap dropping by nearly 7 shots.
“It shows you’re never too old,” Lyn says. “Golf’s social, it’s fun and it’s for everyone — girls, give it a go!”
