Honiton Golf club hosted the annual DevonGolf Girls under 18's Vs DCVLGA match on Sunday 16th October.

12 clubs from across Devon were represented in the 2 teams.
The matches were hard fought and played in great spirit despite the rain. Special mention has to go to Hannah Reynolds and Tash Parsons who played on through the worst of the weather with torrential rain on the 18th to bring home the final win for the Girls.

With all the teams watching on from the dry of the clubhouse Tash Parsons sunk a vital putt to win their match, clinching a vital 3rd win for the girls - resulting in a very fitting and friendly halved match overall.
After the matches were finalised, and everyone dried off under the hairdryers, the teams enjoyed a fabulous meal.
Our thanks go to Honiton Golf club for hosting the match, their greenskeepers for presenting a course in great condition (if not a little soggy come the end!) and their bar and catering teams who looked after us so well throughout the day.
