SENIOR MEN LOOK TO PLAY SOUTHERN COUNTIES QUALIFIER AND CHANNEL LEAGUE IN JUNE

DevonGolf Senior Men begin their defence of their Southern Counties Foursomes title in the regional qualifier, taking on Somerset and Gloucestershire at the Royal North Devon Golf Club on Monday, 20th June.

Team Manager Tim Aggett has dropped out of the match day team of 10, with Simon Knapman coming back into the side to partner Rick Osborne, one of the pairings that contributed strongly to the 2021 Southern Counties Foursomes victory. Jez Binch will partner Colin Papworth in place of Aggett, whilst the other 3 pairs will be the same who played in the recent Channel League victory over Gwent at Stover.

The following week the Senior Men's side return to Channel League action with their first away match of the season at Lansdown Golf Club, north of Bath, to play Gloucestershire. With Binch unavailable, Aggett will return to the line-up, with the same 9 remaining players from the Royal North Devon side selected for the Lansdown team.
