MAD SKILLS FROM HEAD COACH FOR U14s

DevonGolf's U14's were treated to a show of expert golf skills from Head Coach Gary Milne at their recent training session at Woodbury Park Golf Club. It was a pretty wet and miserable morning, brightened by the prowess of Gary who successfully executed the one-armed bunker shot several times over. But there is a reason for showing the boys this particular skill, the drill gets them releasing the right hand/ club earlier in the down swing in order to use the bounce on the club and increase the loft.

The weather brightened for the U16's later in the day who had training with Gary and James Urquhart. The two squads are looking to their next big fixture at the South West Counties' Golf Association U14/U16 Championships at Mendip Spring Golf Club on Friday, 4th June.

DevonGolf is again grateful to Woodbury Park for hosting the various squads for training throughout the season.
