CAITLIN CONTINUES TO SHINE ACROSS THE POND

Caitlin Evans-Brand, a former DevonGolf Champion and stalwart of the DevonGolf girls' and ladies' teams, continues to shine in her Freshman year at Bethune Cookman Daytona University in Florida, America. Caitlin played for the Coastal Carolina Women’s Golf Team in the Princess Anne Invitational.

On Day 1 Caitlin was the match-setter for the Chanticleers with a 3-under 67 on the par-70, 5,824-yard course. Caitlin collected her score with a 2-under 33 on the first nine holes and followed that with a one-under 34 on her second nine. She led the Chants with 5 birdies on the day to go along with her 2 bogeys. Her birdie total was tied for the most on the day.
 
Her 3-under 67 score is tied for the third-lowest 18-hole score in CCU history. Her 3-under is tied for the fifth-best round in the history of the program.

The next day Caitlin was still on fire turning in another sub-par round of 69. After 2 rounds her score of 136 is the second best 2-day total in the program's history.

On the final day Caitlin turned in the best tournament for her team. Her 3-day total is tied for the second best 54-hole score in the team’s history.

Caitlin has now broken into the top 1000 woman's world rankings at 987 as a result of her good performances in her last two ranked events.
