MEN'S FIRST CHANNEL LEAGUE MATCH OF 2019
DevonGolf's first Channel League match of the season took place on 28th April against Somerset at Mendip Golf Club.

The morning's Foursomes games didn't go DevonGolf's way and the score left Somerset in the lead 3½-1½. But it left much to play for in the afternoon's singles but, again, Somerset proved to be the stronger team taking 6 of the 10 matches. The final day's score finished in Somerset's favour of 9½-5½. This was not the result DevonGolf would have wished for but it was good to see juniors Fred Bishop and Jay Scott taking their singles matches against strong opposition.
The next Channel League fixture is on home turf at Churston Golf Club on 12th May. Why not come along and cheer on the DevonGolf team?
