County Card Individual Stableford at Yelverton Golf Club

91 County Card Members were treated to a gorgeous day out at Yelverton Golf Club on Monday 18th September.

Yet again excellent weather prevailed with just a gentle breeze ensuring that players concentration had to be maintained throughout the day. Players were very complementary of the course which was found in excellent condition and together with the first class bar and catering service added to the success of the days event.

Many thanks to all competitors and to all indoor and outdoor staff for making the day go so well.

Devon Golf Officials present on the day to look after the necessary admin were Will Hendry and Ian Andrew. Thanks to them for all their hard work.

The leading Mens score of 39 points by Andre Hogan of Teignmouth was 2 points ahead Paul Bartlett (Wrangaton) and a further point ahead of Paul Young (Boringdon).

The leading Ladies score of 35 points by Sandra James of Staddon was 2 points ahead of Jackie Lewis (East Devon) and Margaret Smith(Wrangaton).
