Pascoe and Cliff retain Butcombe Brewery honours

Richard Pascoe and Peter Cliff defended their Butcombe Brewery Golf Day Title with an excellent 43 points betterball score which was 2 points ahead of the field.  Richard Lewis and Adam Saunders Pennard and Filton Golf Clubs took 2nd position on count back with 41 points (22 back 9) with Chris Brown and Richard Hughes from Royal North Devon also with 41pts (21 back 9).

The Longest Drive (Men) was won by George Rumbold (Yelverton).

The Longest Drive (Ladies) was won by Stephanie Atkinson (Highbullen)

The Nearest the Pin (on the 7th) was won by Stephanie Atkinson (Highbullen)

Many thanks to the Butcombe Brewery Sponsorship, teams from 26 Devon clubs enjoyed the sunshine, on-course refreshments and buffet meal provided after golf.  The weather was great and the course in very good condition as commented by all. Thanks to Stover Golf Club and all the staff who helped make the day a very enjoyable one.
