DEVON LADS FAIRING WELL in Spain

Jimmy Mullen, Harry Konig and David Cockayne are all playing on the winter Gecko Tour out in Spain at the moment.

They have just finished first event at Parador Golf Club Malaga Spain. In a field of 86, mainly pro golfers, Harry and Jimmy finished joint 10th on 4 under par for the 36 hole event and David finished down the field on 3 over par. 

The winning score for the comp was -7 and with five holes left of the final round, Harry was tied at the top on -7 until a misfortunate lost ball just off the fairway cost him a triple bogey 8 and took him out of contention. Harry is due to play in four more of these 36 hole tournaments located in the Mijas Marbella area between now and Christmas and I will keep you informed of their progress.
