Devon romped to a fine 11:4 win but it was looking so different throughout the morning Foursomes where Somerset had the upper hand until the final pairing of Gynne and Pettigrew turned their rubber on the 18th to leave the match all square at 2½ points each. It was a very different story in the afternoon! Devon took the singles 8½:1½. A very solid performance by the whole team!
