WOMEN'S COUNTY PRIZE FINALS 2022
Boringdon Park Golf Club was the venue for the Women's County Prize Finals on 28th April. The sun shone in patches but was accompanied by what the home players call the “Boringdon breeze”.
Pat Forsbury, a member of the Women's section at Boringdon Park Golf Club, kindly started 51 women from 27 clubs from across Devon.
The competitors for this competition had already won their individual Stableford Finals competition within their home club, which consisted of attaining the best 4 scores from any stableford competition held throughout the previous year.
This event was attended by newly elected DevonGolf Vice President, Pam St Leger who presented the prizes on behalf of DevonGolf.
A big thank you must go to all at Boringdon Park Golf Club for their hospitality, assistance from the Pro's Shop and the green staff for producing a lovely course for this competition. Finally, to Lady Captain Catherine Griffiths who not only assisted in the organisation of the day but was a very big help to me throughout.
