COUNTY COMPETITION UPDATE

Message from the DevonGolf Board - 02/07/2020

DevonGolf continue to review and monitor government advice and prioritise the safety of our golfers and volunteers when considering hosting county events in 2020. 

It is still our aim to reschedule some county events and fixtures in 2020, with a focus on Championship events where possible, from the ones currently listed on the county diary as postponed. However, this may not be achievable in all cases and some events will be cancelled for the 2020 golfing season. Further information posted on the DevonGolf website www.devongolf.org.uk.

Whilst golf clubs begin to adjust to social distancing measures on and off the golf course please, rest assured that everyone’s health and safety has and will remain our priority when making these tough decisions to run county events.  Coupled with the stresses golf clubs are currently under to adhere to new regulations and servicing their membership, county must and will consider the viability of some events very closely, and modifications to some of our events may be considered for this year.
