Safeguarding & Protecting Children (Online Classroom)

This Online Classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the knowledge and confidence needed to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should they ever arise.

This virtual session of Safeguarding & Protecting Children (SPC) is an alternative delivery method created by UK Coaching in order to maintain continuity of learning during this period of uncertainty and disruption.

This replaces the face-to-face SPC workshop during this period and has the same learning outcomes, therefore meeting the requirements of the SafeGolf accreditation.

England Golf in conjunction with UK Coaching is organising a number of online classrooms specifically for staff and volunteers involved in golf, at a cost of £30 per person (over 18’s only), see below:

DevonGolf are offering a free place to the registered club welfare officer of any Devon affiliated golf club. A club can be reimbursed the cost of the course fee (£30) alongside the Time To Listen course fee for the club welfare officer on receipt of the certificate received once the course has been attended. Please contact Paul Cloke, Devon Golf Operations Manager for further details and information on how to apply for this support fund.
