A SUCCESSFUL LEVEL 1 RULES DAY

The DevonGolf Level 1 Rules workshop held at Fingle Glen Golf Club on Sunday, 20th October was a great success with 40 people from clubs around the county attending.

The Referee team - Pam St Leger, Gordon Thomson and Terry Hembrow - delivered a very engaging session which consisted of slides and practical education on the golf course. At the end of the session 38 of the 40 attendees sat the Level 1 exam in an attempt to become a qualified Level 1 referee for future volunteer work for club and county.

Our thanks to our wonderful presenters and the volunteers who were involved on the day and to Fingle Glen the host venue.

When dates are released, referee courses for 2020 will be listed on the DevonGolf website.
