DAY 3 LADIES' INTER-COUNTIES' MATCH WEEK

SCORES ON THE DOOR FOR DEVON ON DAY 3

Wednesday is known as moving day and the DevonGolf ladies were out to make their mark against today's opponents Dorset. The morning Foursomes teams were Lauren Pearce (Woodbury Park) & Abby Turner (Okehampton), Amanda Burchell (Bigbury) & Emily Morey (East Devon) with the final pairing of Keeley Clarke (Torquay) & Charlotte Dommett (Torquay). Charlotte made a welcome return to the team today after injury.

The morning's Foursomes saw a win for Lauren & Abby 6-5, a win for Amanda & Emily 3-2 and a loss for Keeley & Charlotte 6-5. That netted Devon 2 of the 3 points available. 6 points were available in the Singles this afternoon and the players were:
Julia Norman (Warren) won 1 up
Keeley Clarke (Torquay) halved
Lexi Dart (Churston) - lost 1 down
Emily Morey (East Devon) - won 3-2
Amanda Burchell (BIgbury) - lost 2-1
Abby Turner (Okehampton) - won 4-2

That meant Devon took 3½ of the 6 afternoon points available and Dorset 2½. Devon won the game points overall with 5½ to Dorset's 3½ converting to 2 winning points for the day and our first points on the board. Well done, Devon!
