LADIES' INTER-COUNTIES' MATCH WEEK TEAM SELECTED

The DevonGolf Ladies' South West Inter-Counties' Match Week team has been picked by Team Manager Sally Charnock alongside coach Tiffany McKenzie and County Captain Anne Norman. The ladies will play a gruelling week's golf at Woodbury Park Golf & Country Club consisting of 3 Foursomes matchplay each morning and 6 singles matchplays each afternoon in a series of round robin matches against Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire - a tough shout for a team of no more than 12. 

It's hoped that home advantage for DevonGolf at the prestigious Woodbury Park will go in our favour, having lost out last year by just ½ point to Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire were a strong team throughout the 2018 competition at St. Endodoc in Cornwall and went onto lift the England Golf national title of County Champions.

To watch some great golf, come along to Woodbury Park and support your local girls doing their best to get through an amazingly tough week of golf to go forward to the national championships. You will see some amazing golf and great resilience from some of DevonGolf's finest lady players.
