A BIG THANK YOU TO GRAHAME

A big thank you from DevonGolf to Grahame Moore.

Grahame has been involved with DevonGolf juniors for the last 11 years. Grahame was a late starter in the game, beginning at Great Torrington Golf Club some 28 years ago, with a brief hiatus with Royal North Devon Golf Club before returning to his roots at Great Torrington. He was honoured to be Great Torrington's Club Captain in 2008, a legendary year in which Great Torrington won the Palairet Trophy. After such an exciting year, Grahame found he missed the buzz and answered an advert to become the U18's Team Manager. The late Peter Brown clearly had an eye for the good guy as the Devon juniors made it to the England Golf County finals for 3 consecutive years under Grahame's watch - a great achievement. In his spare time, Grahame has caddied for the Men's first team for over 20 years, we have here a man who genuinely loves the game.

Just sometimes it's nice to stop and appreciate just how much time our volunteers give to DevonGolf, often over many years. Grahame, we thank you and wish continued success.
