JUNIOR GIRLS IN TRAINING

The DevonGolf Girls' Performance squad enjoyed more coaching with Neil Holman at the weekend. Once again it was another very windy and wet day, meaning the session was moved to Torbay Golf Centre.

The afternoon started with the Skills Test - a high pitch and run shot, across 4 distances. This was followed by individual time with each of the girls, using a club of their choice and working on a shot they wished to improve. The final test for the afternoon consisted of two different putting challenges - and the girls rose to the challenge and you could see their stats improve. Hannah, from Exeter G&CC, tied the skills test with good sport Charlotte Husband - a 5 handicapper. Congratulations!

Next weekend the DevonGolf Girls' Performance squad meet with Neil again at Exeter G&CC from 2pm to 5pm - fingers crossed some good weather.
