DEVON STORM TO VICTORY IN CORNWALL

Devon's Channel League team has defeated Cornwall on a rainy wndswept St. Enodoc course.

Devon got off a fantastic start by winning the Foursomes 4 to 1 and carried on to take the afternoon singles winning 6 games to 4 to give 10 - 5 overall result.

Notable performances from 2 of U18 squad. Craig Passmore winning his game 6/5 and Harrison King, 3 down after 6, but went on to win on the last hole. He also provided the shot of the day by chipping in on 15th for notable 2.

All the team members should be pleased with their performances. Leigh Jones, making a succesfull debut, won both his games.

Thanks go to the Cornwall Team for a match played in the best of spirits and thanks to the host club for their hospitality and use of their facilities.
