PAPWORTH WINS SENIORS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP at Yelverton

Colin Papworth (Exeter) confirmed his first county seniors title by shooting 76 followed by an emphatic 32 in the 2nd round (9 Holes) to total 108 to pip Jim Colvin (East Devon) by just one stroke.  Jim also scored an ace at the 6th hole in his 2nd round. Colin wins the coveted 'Beer Pitcher' Trophy

Our thanks go to Yelverton GC and their General Manager, Steve West, and staff for making the day so enjoyable. Of course the good weather helped....!
