Devon travelled to Enmore Park to take on Somerset in the latest round of the Channel League, the last two games against Somerset had been close affairs with a half at both Worelbury and Royal North Devon.

Leading off the Foursomes was Leon Fricker & James Smith, after a scrappy start they soon settled down to record a 2&1 victory, honours would soon be even though as the usually dependable pairing of Ryan Fricker and Matt Wells lost 3&2. In the third match David Blick & Dan Rosevear again proved to be unbeatable in foursomes and snook home 1 up, Devon were now looking to have the advantage after the mornings games and Captain Adam Bridgewater and new England selection Jimmy Mullen were always in control and cruised to a 2&1 win.Devon were now 3-1 up and the last foursomes match was making it's way down the final hole, and in British Boys Champion Harrison Greenberry and team mate Ryan Pope  Devon had a sound pairing who handled the pressure to win 1up, giving Devon a 4-1 lead.

Next the Singles and first to record victory was James Smith who beat Max Brittan 7&6, this was followed by impressive victories by Jimmy Mullen and David Blick, Ryan Fricker needed to win the last hole to get a half and a 30 foot eagle putt sealed the deal, Devon now had the feeling that things were going their way. An Impressive Ryan Pope powered to a 5&4 Win making the score 8½-1½ in Devons favour, Leon Fricker then closed out his match 2&1. Dan Rosevear won two of the last 3 holes to win 1 up and Captain Adam Bridgewater continued his good form winning 3&2, Devon had now won 7½ out of eight and the points just kept coming as Harrison Greenberry sealed a 3&2 win leaving Matt Wells the only player on the course and he didn't dissapoint recording a 3&1 win giving devon an impressive 13½ - 1½ victory.
