Seniors - Seniors Stableford Championship-SOM (RND) Rules

Information for Entrants
The General Terms of Competitions of DevonGolf apply. Refer to the DevonGolf Website.

Terms of Competition
a) Format: Stableford. The competition shall be decided by stroke play over 18 holes
b) Winner: The Winner shall be the competitor who returns the highest Stableford points score
c) Resolution of Ties: In the event of a tie, the competition shall be decided by card count-back
d) Motorised Buggies - Entrants that require the use of a motorised buggy (or a motorised trolley in the event of abnormal ground conditions) in accordance with the terms of the Disability Discrimination Acts 1995 & 2005, shall submit a letter to the DevonGolf Office not less than 5 days in advance of the competition start date & include a Registered Medical Practitioner’s Certificate. Refer to the General Conditions for Competitions for further information on use.

2 QUALIFICATION
a) Entrants must have an ‘Active’ CONGU Handicap not exceeding that specified on the Entry Form
b) Entrants must either be members of Devon Affiliated Clubs or members of clubs located outside Devon but who were born in Devon
c) Entrants must have attained the age of 55 at the date of the tournament

3 ENTRIES
a) Form of Entry: Entries must be made on the form specified or ‘On-Line’ via the website.
b) Enclosures: The entry fee and, if appropriate a completed Parental Consent Form, must be sent with the completed entry form to the address shown below to arrive before the closing date
c) Refunds will only be made in accordance with the General Terms of Competition

4 BALLOT
a) Field Size: Where the entries exceed available tee times a ballot of handicap will apply

5 TROPHIES & PRIZE VOUCHERS
a) The Trophies awarded are:
i) The Veterans Challenge Cup - to the player with the highest nett Stableford points score
ii) The Bert Hudson Cup - to the player with the highest gross Stableford points score
iii) The Pensioners Plate - to the player over 65 years with the highest nett Stableford points score
iv) The Club Team Shield - to the highest combined nett Stableford points score from 3 players from the same club
b) Trophies may be retained by the Winner for the ensuing 12 months but must be kept within a NACOSS protected area at their Home Club for insurance purposes
c) The Winner of each Trophy is responsible for having it engraved at his own expense
d) The Winner of each Trophy shall return it when so requested by DevonGolf
e) Prize Vouchers will be given to the leading players as decided by DevonGolf
