Another Fine County Card Event

County Card 4BBB Stableford at Tiverton Golf Club

102 County Card Members (51 Pairs) were treated to a gorgeous day out at Tiverton Golf Club on Thursday 10th August.

Excellent weather prevailed with just a gentle breeze ensuring that players remained cool during the break in the recent poor weather conditions. Players were very complementary of the course which was found to be in very good condition and together with the excellent bar and catering service added to the success of the days event.

Many thanks to all competitors and to all indoor and outdoor staff for making the day go so well.

Devon Golf Officials present on the day to look after the necessary admin were Paul Smale and Will Hendry. Thanks to them for all their hard work.

Congratulations to the winning pair of Paul Ham & Lee Phillips from Exminster Golf Club who had an excellent round finishing with 46 points (3 points ahead of the field).
An excellent score of 43 points from the pairing of Tony Jeffs from Teignmouth & Linda Farrant from Stover secured second position.
Father & Son pairing of Richard and William Loughton from Dainton Park scored 41 points securing 3rd position ahead of 5 other teams on their heels with 40 points.
