We were 2-1 up in the morning Foursomes with everything look good to finish at 4-1 when disaster struck!. Two 3 putts by our fourth pair bought the tie to all square and our last pair who were 1up after 16 lost the final two holes.

The afternoon singles was not a happy affair for Devon, losing 7-3. Rosevear, Philpotts and James Thompson where our only winners. James completing a 100% record for the day. The back 9 was our undoing as we were all square or better in 8 of the ties.

Wayward tee shots, poor short game and far too many 3 putts was our downfall. That said, Glamorgan are a good side with 2 internationals and a Walker Cup player.
